10 Ways To Say “I Love You, DAD” Without Actually Saying It

Father's Day is coming up on June 21st, and I'm sure you're all wondering what you can do to honor your fathers. Showing our love and respect for our fathers isn't always easy, but it doesn't imply we don't care.

It's simple to simply post a photo on Instagram with a nice remark and declare "job done for Father's Day," but why not go the extra mile this year and do something special? If you believe you're up to the challenge, here are some pointers you might find useful!

Here are some ways to express "I love you, dad" without saying it out loud:

Prepare his favorite dish for him.

Okay, it's not completely out of the ordinary, but what parent wouldn't want his favorite dish served by his own son or daughter? It's fine if you don't know how to cook; you can always ask your mother for assistance.

Giggle at his jokes.

Raise your hand if your father has made a terrible dad joke that makes you squirm and hope he doesn't say it in front of your pals. Perhaps on Father's Day, you might offer him a giggle and tell him that he is the funniest father on the planet. I'm sure it'd brighten his day!

Pay attention to him

If your father (like mine) is at the age when he enjoys repeating "grandfather stories" despite the fact that he's told them a thousand times before, the greatest thing you can do is listen to him without turning him off. Listening to him demonstrates that you care about him and want to hear what he has to say.

Help him out in any way

An act of service communicates "I love you" louder than anything else! You may do something for your father on Father's Day without his asking you to, such as washing his car, filling his gas tank, topping up his Touch 'n Go card, or giving him a back rub, among many other things!

Assist him with his technology issues.

Your father might not be the most tech-savvy person in the world, but isn't that what sons and daughters are for? If he doesn't know how to use it yet, you may download his favorite shows for him or store his favorite songs to a pen drive and educate him on how to use it. You could even show him how to make the most of his smartphone!

Join him in watching his favorite series and movies.

Spending quality time with your father is a wonderful way to show him that you care on Father's Day. Take time to watch his favorite shows with him; it'll be a fantastic topic of discussion!
